Style tips for the holiday party season!

Having done a bit of globetrotting along with my father, whose passion for discovering new Destinations and exploring the unchartered terrains of the world, it has been and inspiring journey for me as a fashion designer. Starting my label Wyshkaa, earlier this year, I've kick-started my passion, creating design and filling pages of my sketchbook with  inspiration from the latest travels.

Plum & Pearls

the classic Red, White and Green trip will always be a go-to theme at most Christmas parties and events, one could even opt for shades of plum, peach and blue this year. A clean-cut pencil dress or a high collared ruffled number, with brocade detailing, does the trick, keeping the look classy and elegant for an evening dinner or a night out. Team up your look with a pair of black pumps and simple pearl necklace or be more daring with the footwear, choosing feathers and stones to compliment your simple look.

Shimmer & Champagne

Keep the festive spirit alive by going metallic this year, with shimmer dresses and sparkling tops. Opt for shorter lengths and relaxed silhouettes, beaded collars and flowing fabrics, hinting at a Jazz Age inspiration for a fun night out. Body con dresses and LBDs are evergreen pieces for those who wish to go classic this year. Bring in the New Year with a smattering of sequins and shades of gold to light up your night !

Satin Seams

Red and green have always been the domination colour tones for Christmas throughout the ages. And the trend continues even today. Red will remain the international classic for the festive season, forever and always. Chiffon and lace, collared tops and high-waist skirts with asymmetric hems can take a place in your wardrobe for this Christmas and New Year. Simple cuts and solid colours complimenting one another can be worn for a casual outing or a night out with the girls.

P.S. Glühwein or mulled wine, a European beverage made of red wine and raisins, is a hot Christmas delight. I would definitely recommend it for travellers who are planning to visit Europe for their vacations.
